All public indoor classes have been suspended until we are in PHASE III of COVID-19 re-opening. We are hoping to conduct our first live workshops by no later than SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2020. Next update will be posted on July 15th, 2020.
To our prepaid clients (individuals, corporate, private, public institutions), we wish to calm any anxieties you may have about future classes. You have all been very loyal and trusting of us and we thank you. You (including gift certificate bearers) will be given priority to re-book classes once this crisis passes. Dates will be emailed to you to choose from before they are posted publicly. In the meantime, we will continue to follow the recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Canada and Provincial and Municipal authorities to keep you informed about the latest developments so you can rely on our commitment to you with peace of mind. MAKING MAKIMONOS CLASS
$60 + HST ($67.80) PER PERSON
Chef Sang teaches you to the four main styles of sushi rolls, including Hosomaki (cucumber), Uramaki (California Roll), Temaki (hand roll), and Kazari Yin & Yang (seafood medley). The class begins with the history of Edo-mae sushi and proper sushi etiquette. You master the techniques and eat as you make. Everything is supplied for you.
NOTE: Vegetarians, Vegans, and those with dietary restrictions/allergies are all welcome!
URAMAKI (INSIDE-OUT ROLL) CLASS
$75 + HST ($84.75) PER PERSON
Chef Sang teaches you the four most popular North American styles of “inside-out” (Uramaki) sushi rolls. A hands-on sushi-making class, you will be making and eating the Rainbow, Shrimp Tempura, Unagi and Caterpillar. The class is a favourite for those who want to impress friends at the next level. Eat as you make.
NOTE: This class is not for vegetarians. Shellfish can be exchanged as long as notice is given at the time of booking. The following dietary restrictions are accommodated: gluten, dairy, nuts.
