These are some of the great organizations we have conducted sushi workshops with over the years – mostly for team-building and client appreciation events. The responses have been overwhelmingly positive. With your support and engagement, we are able to subsidize the work we do in the community.
So, thank you!
These are some of the important charities, foundations, NGOs, and arts organizations we have contributed to over the years- in the form of sushi workshops to help raise money for their great causes. Because of you, we are able to amplify our capacity to get the message out about why we do what we do.
So, thank you!
This is why we do what we do: to bring joy and a few hours of fun to children and youth through the act of making sushi. Our main focus is on young peeps in low-income, high-risk communities across the Greater Toronto Area, but we recognize that every child, no matter their background, has an inner sushi chef waiting to come out. And thousands of them have revealed their culinary genius through our makimono workshops in libraries and schools, church basements and community centres, restaurants and micro-breweries across Ontario. We even taught children in Kampala, Uganda via Skype. This entire process has opened many hearts (especially ours) and put a smile on so many young faces. We feel great humility and pride in this endeavour.
So, to each one of you who has participated in- and contributed to- this incredibly rewarding journey we have taken together, a journey still ongoing, our most heart-felt gratitude.
